Northrop Grumman Space Systems Strategic Deterrent Systems Division is seeking a Director of Programs 1 to co-lead the Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) Division Software Factory team in supporting the Design, Development and Integration of Software across the Division. This position reports to the Director of the SDS Software Factory and will be located in Roy, UT or Huntsville AL.
Primary role is providing leadership and technical expertise in all phases of software development and integration. This position requires a comprehensive understanding of requirements, architecture, design, software development, Agile methodology, DevOps, operating in a restricted access DoD program environment, program management skills, proven strategic planning and business execution capabilities, as well as ability to work collaboratively. The position will be a key leadership interfacing all Segments, IWO partners, Supplier Management leads and Customers in establishing the baseline program plans, validating the updates, follow-up and reporting. The selected candidate should be able to interact with and influence executive level management and communicate effectively with both oral and written presentations.
The Director of Programs 1 position has the following duties and responsibilities:
- Accountable to the Sentinel Software Factory Director for cost and schedule performance of Software Factory work items (i.e. feature deliveries)
- Responsible for capturing, defining and standing up a Sentinel Software Factory, including System Feature Value Stream identification and performance improvements
- Responsible for the alignment of the Strategic IFC plans and DevOps pipeline to the program strategic plan

- Responsible for communicating successes and opportunities to increase the speed and quality of feature delivery to our customers

The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Principal Classified Cybersecurity Analyst to support information systems lifecycle activities.
The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our McLean, VA location.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conduct system audits and continuous monitoring activities, covering all security controls, configurations, and operational processes to evaluate the security posture of the information systems.
- Perform assessments of systems and networks within the networking environment or enclave and identify where those systems and networks deviate from acceptable configurations, enclave policy, or local policy.

What You Will Get To Do:
Drive Digital Ecosystem execution as a leader across the SDS Division portfolio of programs while reporting into the Digital Ecosystem Sr Director. The Digital Ecosystem Deputy will:
- Drive the execution of the Digital Strategy across SDS
- Translate strategy to program execution and drive measurable outcomes
- Cultivate customer relationships to drive alignment and achieve shared success
- Interface with product teams across SDS Business Units
- Handle escalations and issues across SDS
- Programmatic and technical execution, oversight & management for Digital Ecosystem Products.
- Perform proactive risk and opportunity management supporting full product lifecycle

Work with Technical and Program leaders to ensure the Digital Ecosystem products meet program needs

Provide leadership and mentoring to all levels of engineering and program management staff
- Provide support to various business development and capture efforts as required
- Ensure clear lines of communication with the customer regarding technical and programmatic topics of interest
- Act as the Digital Ecosystem Senior Directors delegate in executive level meetings

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

You Will Bring These Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree with at least 10 years of progressive engineering experience, or Master’s and 8 years’ of experience.
- 8+ years experience With Digital Tools to manage cost, schedule, staffing
- 8+ years experience with MBSE, DevOps, Manufacturing Digital Tools
- 8+ years experience designing and developing systems and software for IT, Engineering, and Program Management Systems.
- 3+ years experience with EVMS as a Cost Account Manager
- Active DoD Secret clearance, investigation must have been completed within last 5 years.
These Qualifications Are Nice To Have:
- Exemplifies and demonstrates strong leadership characteristics and upholds company values
- IT or complex aerospace systems experience
- Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) experience
- Prior experience interfacing with prime contractor site leads and USAF leadership personnel
- Active DoD TS clearance
- Demonstrated effectiveness in achieving results through managing people and understanding and management of internal processes and customer/supplier relationships.
- Strong understanding and broad application of complex engineering systems (engineering standards, configuration management, material review board, process control, tooling, facilities, hardware, etc.)
- Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience with high value customer presentations, with ability to focus on multiple projects with competing priorities
- Experience in working closely with customers to ensure delivery of systems that meet mission needs
- Ability to develop and articulate strategy and facilitate strategic decisions
- Demonstrated experience in making sound decisions in uncertain and difficult situations
- Strong sense of urgency and work ethic in ensuring products meet customer and program expectations in a timely and efficient manner
Primary Level Salary Range: $193,800.00 - $290,600.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
