IT Technicians, We Want You!

The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking an experienced Desktop PC Technician to join its dynamic team of technical professionals. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems support team in Melbourne, FL.

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

• Provides technical support for computers and associated networks.
• Installs, troubleshoots, services, and repairs personal computers, related PC software, telephones, cables, and connectors.
• Connects personal computers and terminals to existing data networks. Performs basic PC setups.
• Instructs and assists users in the use of personal computers and networks.
• Investigates information, network, and communications needs of users, and makes recommendations regarding software and hardware purchases.
• Maintains trouble logs.
• Completes paperwork and other tasks needed to satisfy Security requirements.
• Successfully follows all Security regulations, guidelines, and processes regarding the installation, maintenance, and retirement of PCs and PC-related hardware and software.
• Works with Security to remediate classified or unclassified data spillage incidents.
• Coordinates with users, service desk, server administrators, network engineers, and customer and IT management.
• Reviews the trouble ticket queue to identify issues that need to be addressed.
• Works through the ticket queue without intervening management direction (self-motivated).
• Proficiency in Microsoft products such as Windows desktop OS, Office Product Suite
• Resolves tickets within established SLAs.
• Raises issues that require management attention or involvement.
• Establishes and maintains high levels of customer satisfaction according to defined objectives while adhering to established policies.
• Works with system administrators and other staff to resolve support issues, escalating where appropriate.
• Participates in new installations, testing and special projects as needed.
• May spend portions of the day away from the desk when supporting users and moving equipment.
• Exhibits good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers.
• Possess a technical understanding of Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) Operations, including Service Desk, Desktop, Network, Telecommunications, Data Center, Application Support, Service Level Management, and other areas of IT Operations.
• Resolves technical problems and answers queries by telephone in support of internal and/or outside customer computer hardware, software, network, and telecommunications systems.
• Diagnoses, identifies, isolates and analyzes problems utilizing historical database records.
• Route calls to product line specialists. Maintains and updates records and tracking databases.
• Alerts management to recurring problems and patterns of problems.

Basic Qualifications for Level 2:

• High School diploma and 2 years of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree and 0 years of relevant experience
• Must have a Security+ certification (or greater)
• Candidates must have a current DOD Secret level security clearance (at a minimum) in order to be considered
• Experience in Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Product Suites, and remote deployment methods

Basic Qualifications for Level 3:

The Northrop Grumman Classified Solutions team is seeking a Principal Computer Systems Analyst to support information system lifecycle activities. The selected candidate will be required to work on-site, full-time at our Aurora, CO location. 

Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following: 

• Perform as a Principal Computer Systems Analyst in support of classified government contracts.

• Exhibits good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers.

• Test new releases of products to ensure compatibility and minimize user impact.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation of system processes and procedures.

• Adhere to strict Information Systems security guidelines in all cases, supporting Computer Security with inputs to documentation, as required.

• Maintain security audit and logging information on all classified networked and standalone computers as directed by the Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM).

• Work across disciplines to isolate issues between software, firmware, and hardware, between software and operating systems, between networks and applications, and between one-time events and recurrent systematic problems.

• Support environments by means of ticketing requirements systems (ServiceNow, JIRA, etc.)

• Raises issues that require senior level attention or involvement.

• Lifts and moves equipment up to 50 pounds.

• Work after hours, and weekends, as needed.

• Windows Server Administration to include, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, LDAP and other services
• Experience operating under and managing systems within NISPOM Chapter 8, DCID 6/3-ICD 503, RMF, STIG, JAFAN, or JSIG information system environments
• Knowledge of networking, including subnets, routing, VLANs and VTCs
• Create, maintain, and deploy system images in a LAN and up to an enterprise environment
• Current working virtualization experience
• Knowledge of Backup solutions (Cohesity, Veritas, etc) and SAN storage systems
• Experience with environmental monitoring tools (HBSS/Solar Winds/Splunk)

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is seeking Program Manager 1. This position will be located on-site in Baltimore, MD and will support the Production Program Office within the Advanced Tactical Programs (ATP) OU for the Tactical Fighters BU. This position is 100% on-site.

What You’ll Get To Do:

The primary objective will be supporting the ATP Production Program Office with the delivery of all contractual requirements on cost and on schedule, while achieving all technical requirements and creating customer intimacy to support value creation strategies and actions.  The individual will assist leading a cross-functional organization aligned to common program performance goals.

The M1 Program Manager is responsible for assisting in proposal development, execution, and completion (contract closeout).  Primary responsibilities are included but not limited to:

• Conducting risk, issue and opportunity management practices including identification, mitigation and realization.
• Managing internal affordability projects and briefing project status to internal stakeholders and customers.
• Ensuring program team understands and adheres to contract scope and manages change through control board activities.

Boeing Global Services (BGS), Digital Solutions & Analytics (DS&A) is seeking a Level 3 experienced or level 4 Senior Technical Advanced Support Analyst for 24x7x365 technical customer support.  The scope of support covers Boeing’s current and next generation Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms, licensed software products, Identity and Access Management services spanning large-scale hybrid cloud environments.  This includes e-Commerce, traditional web application and native mobile application delivery channels.

Primary job responsibilities include advanced technical product support investigating, analyzing, troubleshooting, and resolving high/medium/low priority service requests from our internal (Boeing) and external Customers (Aircraft Owner, Operator, MRO, Partners and Suppliers) as defined in our Licensed Software Support Policy. This position can be located in Seattle, WA or Englewood, CO.

This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.  This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.

Position Responsibilities:

• Provide responsive 24x7x365 world class technical customer service and support for service requests and phone call inquiries.
• Utilize and maintain knowledge, troubleshooting guides and self-help resources for internal team and external customer usage.
• Contribute to continuous improvement, problem management, root cause and corrective action (RCCA) activities to improve customer satisfaction, reduce repetitive issues, and eliminate negative impacting events.
• Draft and publish global communications for hardware/software related changes, upgrades, issues, known defects and high/medium priority alerts.
• Continuous learning by staying up to date with new software/hardware products, features and Information Technology (IT) support methods.
• Be a resource and partner with cross functional and matrix organization team members in delivering superior customer service and support.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

• 1 year experience and competency in troubleshooting, analysis and problem-solving strategies to address simple to complex customer inquiries
• 1 year experience working knowledge of Technical Operations tools and use in Maintenance Operations
• 1 year experience working knowledge of Technical Operations Products and their impacted up and downstream systems
• Fluent written and speaking skills to communicate with individuals with English as a primary language and those with English as a second language
• Willingness to work in 24x7x365 technical customer support environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 3+ years experience and competency in troubleshooting, analysis and problem solving strategies to address simple to complex customer inquiries
• 3+ years experience working knowledge of Technical Operations tools and use in Maintenance Operations.
• 3+ years working knowledge of Technical Operations Products and their impacted up and downstream systems
• IT support or equivalent background across one or more of the software systems development / sustaining disciplines a plus
• Project management tools and practices as well as knowledge of project and software implementation a plus.
• Knowledge and/or experience within the aviation industry
• Knowledge of Aviation training practices and protocols
• Associate’s degree or higher

Nationwide’s Cloud Security Engineering (CSE) team is seeking a hands-on cloud engineer with a security and automation mindset to build and automate controls across cloud platforms. If you enjoy designing solutions, writing code, and using automation to solve complex problems at scale, this role will give you the opportunity to deepen your expertise in security,engineering, CI/CD, and multi-cloud guardrails.

You’ll work primarily with Microsoft Azure while also contributing to initiatives in Amazon Web Services. This is a collaborative role defining, implementing, or maturing cloud controls to defend against current as well as emerging threats.

What you’ll do

As a contributing member of the Cloud Security Engineering team, you will:

• Design, build, and operate automated cloud controls and services in AWS and Azure (e.g., serverless functions, policy-as-code).

• Implement and enhanceinfrastructure-as-code and CI/CD pipelines(e.g., Terraform, AWS Cloudformation AWS CDK, Azure Bicep, GitHub Actions, AWS CodeBuild, Harness, Azure DevOps) to standardize and scale deploymentsacross accounts and subscriptions.

• Develop reusable templates, libraries, and automation patterns that make it easy for application teams to adopt secure-by-default cloud configurations.

• Build and maintain visibility and reportingfor cloud resources (accounts, subscriptions, instances, containers, services) through metrics, alerts, and dashboards.

• Stay current on cloud security vulnerabilities, patterns, and standards and translate them into enterprise controls.

• Partner with application and platform teams on vulnerability remediation and secure deployment patterns.

• Collaborate with architecture and other security teams to design and embed preventive controls into cloud platforms and CI/CD workflows

• Support compliance and governance requirements for workloads migrating to or running in the cloud, ensuring configuration and entitlement standards are met.

• Implement and support data protection, encryption, logging, and monitoring strategies for cloud services, products, and data.

• Troubleshoot and respond to cloud security incidents, contributing to root cause analysis and automation of future preventative controls.

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure and/or AWS required; GCP or OCI a plus), including building and operating application workloads or platform services.

• Proficiency in scripting or programming in Python (preferred) or similar scripting language to build tools, integrations, and automations.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation (e.g., GitHub, Jenkins, Harness, Azure DevOps) including build, test, and release workflows.

• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, AWS CDK, Azure Bicep, ARM, CloudFormation) and cloud provisioning automation

• Familiarity with security concepts in one or more areas such as IAM, vulnerability management, data protection, logging/monitoring, network controls, or encryption.

• Strong collaboration, consulting, and documentation skills, including working with distributed engineering and security teams.

• Demonstrated ability to design, refine, and measure engineering processes and controls.

• Understanding of how to evaluate, adopt, and responsibly apply AI-driven tools to accelerate engineering and operations in a secure way.

Desired skills

• Familiarity with security or compliance frameworks (e.g., NIST, CIS Benchmarks, PCI DSS) and how they map to cloud controls.

• Experience in architecture, application, engineering, or operationsfunctions related to cloud environments.

• Understanding of defensive technologies (e.g., WAF, IPS, endpoint protection) and common cloud attack patterns and mitigations.

• Experience with log analysis and observability platforms (e.g., Splunk, Cribl, Datadog, or similar).

• Prior experience supporting audits or remediating audit findings in cloud environments.

• Technical experience in at least one foundational discipline: networking, systems/servers, or endpoint engineering.

The Technology Engineer delivers standard and custom supportable technology products based on Nationwide’s architectural standards, technology roadmaps, industry trends and business requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Creates and implements standard builds/templates for all technology platforms.
• Drives requirements to meet current and future needs, tracks and reports capacity postures.
• Applies secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle to ensure our data and technology solutions are protected from threats and vulnerabilities.
• Analyzes reports and delivery recommendations to remediate capacity issues.
• Implements capacity enhancements.
• Designs standard and custom technology solutions for business partner projects, including pre-production testing, performance tuning, handoffs and certification.
• Delivers technology/product optimization, migrations and management, including technology/product design, planning, power and environmental management.
• Collaborates with others to develop meaningful metrics that drive fact-based decisions on a given product/environment/solution.
• Conducts proactive system maintenance, disaster recovery planning, data backup and recovery as well as inventory, configuration and utility product management.
• Executes production engineering processes, incident management, root cause analysis, problem management, change management, release management and knowledge management.
• Provides production support for all technology platforms.
• Provides oversight for technical labs and development environments.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships:  Reports to Manager/Director Technology Engineering Manager/Technology Product Manager.

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems or a related field is preferred.

License/Certification/Designation: Technology certifications or designation are not required, but encouraged (i.e.: AWS, Azure, scripting and development languages, delivery methods, security).

Experience: Four years of experience with moderately complex integrated solutions and an ability to develop and modify existing solutions for specialized needs. Experience with automation of solution configurations deployment and with system management processes and tools. Experience with concepts and solutions: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS and Package Solutions.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Strong communication skills, knowledge of planning, management and execution of Accelerated Solutions Deliver framework, Information Security acumen. Influencing, negotiating and priority setting is needed. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge is a plus.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.
