About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Director Platform - Cyber AI to lead secure platform engineering, cloud-native development, and enterprise frameworks with a strong emphasis on AI-aware security and risk governance. This role provides strategic and operational leadership to teams building resilient, compliant, and intelligent technology platforms that protect the enterprise while enabling innovation at scale.
*In this role, you will:*
- Set technology strategy across cybersecurity engineering, cloud platforms, development frameworks, and AI-enabled capabilities
- Lead and develop engineering managers and senior technical leads
- Drive delivery of roadmaps aligned to enterprise security, cloud, and digital transformation priorities
- Provide oversight of secure software development, cloud-native architectures, and platform resilience
- Establish guardrails for secure AI adoption, including governance, data protection, model risk, and regulatory compliance
- Partner with Architecture, Risk, Compliance, and Business teams to implement key initiatives
- Guide adoption of DevSecOps, CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure-as-code
- Manage technology risk, regulatory engagement, and third‑party considerations
- Foster a culture of security ownership, engineering excellence, and responsible innovation
*Required Qualifications:*
- 10+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
- 4+ years of management or leadership experience
- Experience with DevSecOps, zero-trust principles, container platforms, or shared enterprise frameworks
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk, secure software practices, and cloud-native architecture
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive large-scale initiatives
*Desired Qualifications:*
- High-level understanding of AI/ML implementations from a cybersecurity and risk perspective, including governance and control considerations
- Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, or hybrid environments)
- Experience supporting regulatory exams, audits, or risk assessments
- Strong financial and vendor management experience

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
$215,000.00 - $355,000.00
