As a Senior Software Developer on the Point-of-Sale Integrations team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining containerized API and UI services using Node, MongoDB, and Angular. Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure, AI workflows, and C# are also beneficial. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with a range of technologies focused on both internal and third-party integrations. Working in a SCRUM-based agile environment, you’ll participate in multiple projects and oversee every phase of the software development lifecycle.

Your skills will be needed in developing and maintaining the product to bring value and utility to the company. Including but not limited to managing cloud-based resources, optimizing deployment pipelines; automating manual and repetitive activities; researching new technology; providing proof-of-concept demonstrations and much more.

What will you be doing?

• Understand business requirements

• Write code in JavaScript, Typescript, Angular framework, and C# all in a maintainable, easy to read that follow good programming principles and standards

• Create advanced MongoDB queries and data management

• Create REST APIs and integrate with 3rd party APIs

• Manage Docker containers

• Perform application builds

• Work with and create pipelines between GitHub and Harness.

• Identify and implement patterns and practices in the software to reduce complexity and improve quality

• Provide mentoring and leadership to associate and intermediate developers

• Participate in code reviews, freely giving and receiving constructive feedback

• Be able to receive feedback from others in the organization including your teammates

• Implement automated build and release definitions

• Write unit and integration tests

• Troubleshoot bugs in the application

• Research new and innovative technologies and speak to the pros and cons of adopting them

• Work on a wide variety of integrations

• Develop proof-of-concept solutions

• Working knowledge of AI workflows and use cases

What are the requirements?

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, related field or equivalent experience.

• Excellent programming skills with various technologies including Node, JavaScript, Typescript, Angular, MongoDB, Docker

• C#, AWS Cloud Knowledge, and experience with Harness are also useful.

• Understanding Object-Oriented Programming and related concepts.

• Strong communication skills.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• Ability to communicate at an intermediate level in English.

• Experience in software development in a small team in a large corporate environment.

• Experience in designing and building n-tier enterprise applications.

• Experience in developing Web applications with Node

• Experience in developing Web applications with MongoDB

• Experience in developing responsive Web UIs in Angular
