The Analysis Services (AS) Engine team is looking to hire a Principal Software Engineer,  the core data processing engine powering Power BI and other Microsoft BI systems. Our engine is central to delivering fast, scalable, and intelligent analytics experiences across Microsoft’s data platform. As the adoption of Power BI continues to grow, the AS engine is evolving to meet new performance, scalability, and integration demands. Qualifications

The Role

The Growth Insights and Foundations Data Engineering team ensures the availability of critical data to enhance "in-the-moment" experiences across various product canvases for both current and future Netflix members.
In this role, you will partner closely with data scientists and other engineers to build low-latency data products capable of powering algorithms and machine learning models that run across our commerce, identity flows, and more. This role is ideal for an individual with an analytically bent mind coupled with a robust engineering background who can develop highly available and reliable distributed data systems and services to ensure the timely delivery of high-quality data for use in the Netflix product.

We are seeking a senior software engineer to join the Metaflow project, developing a product that makes it easy to build, manage and scale real life ML applications.   Metaflow is used in over 100+ distinct ML applications within Netflix, spanning personalization and recommendations, growth and Ads.
You will lead requirements, design, and implementation of Metaflow product improvements, and have the opportunity to work alongside our applied researchers and data scientists on the cutting edge of machine learning.  You will have a strong customer focus and consistently engage with our ML community to source feedback, identify pain points, and opportunities to evolve Metaflow and the Machine Learning Platform in general.  You will also partner with the OSS Metaflow development community to ensure a mutually beneficial roadmap and relationship.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong software engineering background, a keen sense of software design, a track record of prioritizing user experience, have proven experience with distributed applications, be a good communicator, and work well in large cross-functional teams.
What we are looking for:

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with a successful track record of delivering quality results
• Strong software design and development skills, with prior Python experience
• Experience working with tools, systems, and processes that accelerate ML researchers and Data Scientist velocity
• Experience in building and operating scalable and reliable ML systems
• Experience in large-scale build, release, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and observability methods
• Experience working with public clouds, especially AWS

Preferred, but not required additional areas of experience:

• Knowledge of machine learning algorithms
• Prior experience as a Data Scientist or MLE
• Experience with deep learning frameworks, such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.
• Significant contributions to open source projects

The Opportunity
The Consumer ML Serving team provides the computational platform on which we build nearly all our consumer-facing ML/AI applications. If you’ve seen it, we probably served it! We provide all the building blocks to serve ML at scale, including a real-time model serving platform, an event-driven model and feature compute framework, a distributed compute orchestration engine, and more. Additionally, as we expand to enable LLM innovation in numerous areas of personalization, we’re building model serving infrastructure for LLMs and other large foundation models.  
We are looking for a strong senior engineer to own and develop our long-term vision. Our systems power some of Netflix's most business-critical models, and we need you to take our ML/AI initiatives to the next level. You will play a highly cross-functional role, partnering with other engineers, product managers, machine learning engineers, and data/research scientists.

The Role

The Platform Apps and Innovation team develops the Netflix app and core playback components that enable the latest audio and video experiences on the largest SmartTV+ providers in the world. This is both an external and internal operational excellence role. It champions the resolution of various issues, including (but not limited to) components, applications and systems, complex device issues, and app and system configurations. Another critical part of the role is highlighting enhancements to automation, tools, and processes to reduce the team's overall operational drag.

The Role

The Games SDK team is responsible for the SDK libraries that game developers use to access the functionality of the Netflix Games Platform, implementing it across several supported platforms and game engines for mobile and cloud. As a member of the Games SDK team, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and improving the quality of our SDK product. This role will focus on the quality of both the experience that game developers have when integrating the SDK into their games and the experience of Netflix customers using SDK functionality in games.

What you will do

• Contribute to the overall quality and testing strategy for the SDK team, with a focus on our iOS Games SDK, advocating for improvements to test infrastructure and tools where necessary
• Drive design and implementation of automation tests and the tools and infrastructure needed to support automation
• Debug issues with a variety of tools and identify root causes in close partnership with SDK engineers
• Manually test new features and integration points that are difficult to automate
• Contribute to test games and sample code that integrate and utilize the SDK
• Gather and analyze operational data to gain insights on how to improve test stability, performance, and developer engagement
