JOB SUMMARY
The Vice President, Software Engineering provides leadership in aligning technology development with business objectives for assigned platforms and/or technologies. The incumbent provides overall direction and guidance to software engineering managers, Database specialists, software developers, and contract labor teams. She/he drives software development across multiple teams and agile phases to ensure execution of work plans. The person will determine department priorities and ensures software development, maintenance, and innovation objectives are met.
Essential RESPONSIBILITIES and ACCOUNTABILITIES
Own the strategic vision and roadmap for all Product(s) within your area of responsibility. Ensures alignment between business strategies, enterprise transformation initiatives, technology standards and practices. Responsible for quality and timely delivery of new and/or enhanced systems/technologies. Responsible for solution architecture, software engineering, test automation, Performance engineering, DevSecOps and production support service levels. Works closely with customers, other IT managers, vendors, and management to identify and maximize opportunities to use technology creatively to improve customer experience & improve business processes. Prepares business cases, including financial analyses of potential new technologies/systems/applications. Evaluates based on organization’s strategic needs and resource availability. Contributes to the development of software, test automation, performance engineering standards, policies, processes, and procedures to ensure these practices align with enterprise standards. Continuously reviews the technology needs of supported business functions/processes relative to new technological developments and trends. Keeps abreast of the industry and emerging technologies. Participates in vendor/strategic partner evaluations and monitors the relationship on an ongoing basis. Prepares/manages department budget: P&L forecasting, operational/capital expenditures, contract negotiations and invoice processing Leads and manages team to accomplish objectives through effective recruitment & selection, training & development, performance management and rewards & recognition.

Knowledge & Skills:
Strong stakeholder management experience. Broad knowledge of software development techniques, processes, methods and best practices. Deep working experience with specialty commercial insurance with a knowledge of casualty, workers comp, construction, energy, and large account business. Knowledge of application test automation products, processes, and best practices Thorough knowledge of all assigned systems, applications, technologies. Proven experience and strong understanding of Agile development and its application to company technology needs to enable business outcomes. Experience in modernizing technologies to enable Underwriting efficiency. Strong strategic decision making & long term planning abilities to manage resources and develop efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively lead and motivate team. Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation & consultative skills for effective collaboration with senior management. Job Summary
The Senior ServiceNow Developer is responsible for design, development, and unit testing of ServiceNow Catalog Items automation and integration solutions. The candidate will engage with Business Analyst and SME to perform detailed requirement analysis. The candidate will provide production implementation and post-production support for ServiceNow modules and features such as Catalog Items and other aspects of ServiceNow.
Responsibilities
- Design, architecture, maintenance, and enhancement of Catalog items.
- Create and maintain the current state of the ServiceNow platform architecture documentation.
- Communicate and collaborate with non-technical stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze the impact of new requirements, and configure the new requirements on the ServiceNow platform as per ITIL best practices.

Position Summary
The Data Engineer III will work closely with the rest of the product team and business peers to effectively execute Data project initiatives. This person should be able to deliver in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment. Job Summary
The Vice President for Data Domain leads the enterprise data strategy and execution across multiple critical functions including data engineering, data governance, business intelligence/reporting, actuarial data support, and domain-specific teams such as Ceded Reinsurance. This role is responsible for ensuring end-to-end ownership of data platforms, scalable architecture, efficient operations, and business-aligned delivery across multiple agile teams and vendor partners. Data Platform Oversight
- Drive the roadmap, architecture, and lifecycle management of enterprise data platforms including cloud data lakes (Snowflake), data warehouses, and Azure-based pipelines.

As a Data Quality Lead – Reinsurance Data Platform, you will be responsible for leading quality assurance efforts of Reinsurance Datawarehouse Application used extensively by Reinsurance business teams.
